Our Sugi design originated from the Katazome technique, which uses hand-carved persimmon stencils to apply a resist paste to the fabric. Inspired by the memorable Sugi (Japanese cedar) tree, this unique pattern reflects the deep connection between nature and the beauty of handcrafted design.
