Solomon's Seal - Selenite

Solomon’s Seal fills the lower reaches of the garden with dense green foliage, its alternating leaves stair-stepping gracefully up the stem to form delicate gothic arches that furl out like fingers and flourish clusters of pendant, fairy-bell flowers. The white roots - said to resemble bones - are medicinal, a healing and nourishing tonic used to soothe a panoply of ailments. Its name conjures wisdom, as well as the wizardly ‘seals’ that mark the junctures where stems meet root.

Designed by LP founder Melanie Catherine Nead, Solomon’s Seal is inspired by classic decorative arts and Greek figure vases, and its timeless, inspiring color palettes make it equally well-suited for contemporary or historic spaces.
